One very bad bill down (SB475) and one to go (SB236).
SB236 is scheduled for debate by the full House of Representatives on Wed, June 9th. That is right, WEDNESDAY - 4 days from today.

Committee votes to allow judges to act against a childs best interest
Under current law, when a parent is awarded joint custody, the judge has a two pronged test to apply.
1) If it is practical
2) If it is in the child's best interest
Then custody of the child should be awarded equally.
Yesterday, the House Civil Law and Procedure Committee voted to change this law.
The new law reads.
1) If it is practical
